Coles’ Learning and Development team needed to move their existing learning content to a blended learning format
Coles’ Learning and Development team needed to take their learning content online but lacked a formalised methodology to do this. The talented team were using different learning design languages, and following different processes, making it difficult to get alignment when it came to translating in person training to the digital landscape.
Capability Group developed a solution which was delivered to members of the Coles Learning and Development team over three training sessions and included learning design principles, getting clear on purpose, the PEAR learning model, and methods and media. As part of the solution Capability Group also met with Coles participants for one-on- one coaching sessions.
Survey results of participants indicated that the programme helped them to develop a strong foundation of understanding of the key elements of existing programmes, and how to break these down for more effective digital delivery using multiple media formats instead of traditional face-to-face.
