Capability Group partnered with Toi Moana in 2021 to lift leadership capability across all levels of the organisation aligned with the Toi Moana Leadership Model, Te Pae Rangatira. These programmes are available to all Toi Moana whānau, from individual team members, technical and subject matter experts, to team leaders, managers and senior leadership – there is something for everyone.
In the 18 months that the programmes have been running, participants have reported an improvement in relationships and networks across the organisation, improved confidence, greater resilience and significant lifts in leadership capability.
Karen Aspey, General Manager of People and Leadership, says, “The programme feels like Toi Moana through and through, and reflects our awesome whānau beautifully. It’s clearly underpinned by deep learning and development expertise and with a big picture organisational development lens. It responds to our organisational needs with astute clarity and will provide our leaders with the skills they need to guide us through the coming years. It brings together all the critical aspects needed for a great leadership programme.”
Jill Walters, Organisational Development Manager, says, “We have been on an incredible journey with our leaders in the co-creation of our leadership model and bespoke leadership programmes. We’re so honoured to receive this recognition and celebrate this achievement with everyone involved. This shows the passion, dedication and collaborative spirit of the Toi Moana Organisational Development team and Capability Group, who have worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life.
”Drew McGuire, Director at Capability Group, says, “This recognition is a testament to the powerful partnership we’ve built with Toi Moana.
