We are thrilled to announce that our First Move VR Manual Handling Programme has been awarded Platinum at the 2025 LearnX Awards! This recognition is a huge milestone for our team, our partners, and everyone involved in bringing this cutting-edge solution to life.

The programme is the result of a collaborative effort:

Provention NZ contributed with world-class manual handling expertise. Uptale VR provided the next-generation immersive platform. Briscoe Group challenged us to create something innovative that truly meets their frontline needs. Capability Group designed an engaging and impactful learning experience that combines behavioural science with immersive technology.

First Move VR

The programme is designed to change habits, improve workplace safety, and give employees the confidence to perform at their best.  It is designed around intelligent movements and sustainable behavioural change, helping employees learn by doing in a safe, virtual environment. It covers four key modules:

• Shoulders: 8-10 mins
• Twisting: 8-10min
• Moving with balance: 8-10mins
• Lifting: 8-10 mins

Combining immersive VR with bite-sized, actionable learning, we're helping organisations move beyond outdates, one-off training and make real impact on the frontline. The real difference of the programme is:

• It's scalable: Delivering individual “learning by doing” to employees across multiple sites and regions.
• It's embedded: Ensuring correct manual handling habits stick in day-to-day work.
• It's accessible: Training can happen in the flow of work, not disrupting operations.
